'Iron Man 3' exclusive extended scene to debut during MTV Movie Awards this Sunday

Today MTV announced it will exclusively debut an extended scene from Iron Man 3 during the 2013 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday at 9 pm ET/PT.  Immediately following the televised premiere, the extended clip will be available for viewing on mtv.com. 

Brad Pitt, Peter Dinklage, Steve Carell, Melissa McCarthy, Zac Efron, Kerry Washington, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Amanda Seyfried, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Kim Kardashian, Liam Hemsworth, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto are confirmed to present. 

Fans can head to movieawards.mtv.com through this Saturday to vote. As in previous years, the category of “Movie of the Year” will remain an ongoing battle throughout the 22nd annual “2013 MTV Movie Awards” telecast. Additional presenters, performers and special award recipients will be announced at a later date.

Iron Man 3, which opens May 3, stars Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (James Rhodes/War Machine), Guy Pearce (Aldrich Killian) and Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin) and is directed by Shane Black (Lethal Weapon). Marvel's Iron Man first appeared in the pages of Tales of Suspense No. 39 in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with The Invincible Iron Man No. 1 in May of 1968.
