Another member of the Loser's Club cast for 'IT' sequel

We're pretty excited to be heading back to Derry, Maine, but we still have quite some time before we can see our favorite dancing clown again.

The highly anticipated horror flick isn’t slated to get a theatrical release until Sept. 6, 2019, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t getting snippets of information about the forthcoming film.

As we know, the IT sequel has its director, release date, name and, most important of all, it has started assembling its cast—the older version of the Loser's Club.

Rumors of who will be cast as the adult version of the club have been swirling around the internet for months, and it appears as though Stephen King's monstrous tale is finally rounding out its cast. According to a report from Deadline, Jay Ryan (Mary Kills People) is the next actor booking a trip to Maine. Ryan will be tackling the role of Ben Hanscom, who was played by Jeremy Ray Taylor in 2017's IT.

Ryan will be joined by Jessica Chastain, who is set to play Beverly Marsh, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, James McAvoy as Bill Denbrough and Bill Hader as Richie Tozier.

The only member of the club yet to be cast is Mike Hanlon, who we're pretty stoked to see get cast because so far, the casting choices have been pretty spot on.

Of course, there is one more person coming back to the film that we're pretty excited to see:

That's right, Bill Skarsgård will be coming back to eat the children, we mean, the adults of the Loser's Club, and we're unbelievably excited to see what nightmares Skarsgård will be giving us for the sequel.

What's more?

Andy Muschietti will be back as the film's director with Gary Dauberman working on the script. The producers of the film Barbara Muschietti, Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg are rumored to be returning as well.

The new sequel is set to be a lot scarier than the first. As previously reported, the forthcoming flick from Muschietti is set to be so scary that the director shared you might need to invest in some adult diapers, saying:

“They're gonna find a lot of things that resemble the first one, the humor, the emotion, the horror,” said Muschietti to CinemaCon. “People are very invested emotionally in the characters of the story.”

He continued on to say: “It's gonna be scarier. It's gonna be a more intense experience. So, bring your adult diapers to the theater.”

Yeah, we're already spooked.

There aren't any further details about the forthcoming horror film, but we're pretty excited and slightly terrified to see the new nightmares we'll get when seeing the IT sequel.
