Now that last year's horror movie adaptation of Stephen King's It has reignited our fear of clowns, a new documentary about the making of the 1990 It miniseries is on the way—watch a teaser for Pennywise: The Story Of It below.

The upcoming doc not only features behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the original TV miniseries' cast and crew, per Comicbook.com, it also delves into the public's well-documented fear of clowns. (And, like, how can we not be terrified of clowns when they're as scary as Pennywise?)

Tim Curry played the shape-shifting clown in the '90s version, a role filled by Bill Skarsgård in the 2017 film. The miniseries' production designer, Bart Mixon, looks back on his miniseries work when compared to the recent movie adaptation (which he says he liked) with House Of Tortured Souls.

“For what I did, I think it was about three hours and five minutes long,” he says. “By the time they do part two, it will probably come into about four and a half hours … I am kind of envious that they got another hour and a half to tell the same story and they are not restricted by the 1990 TV censorship.”
