Jared Leto has revealed he’s open to playing the Joker again, which might mean his Suicide Squad days are far from over.

It’s already been rumored that he’d be making an appearance in the upcoming Harley Quinn stand-alone movie Birds of Prey. Leto previously teased us that he might be making a cameo in the Suicide Squad spinoff.

So, even if he isn’t, these new comments could open up a world of possibilities.

“I would definitely play the Joker again,” Leto said to Variety. “It all depends on the script and the circumstances as it always does.”

Leto also commented on the Birds of Prey rumors, which he kept pretty ambiguous.

“I don’t think so. You’d have to ask them,” he said, adding “Well, we’ll see.”

Although Leto is open to reprising his role, it might not be for awhile, considering the film Joker which stars Joaquin Phoenix is gearing up for its release. He also stated in the interview that he hasn’t seen the trailer for that film, but is glad superhero movies are getting people back into the theaters.

In other news, Leto just shared a first look at Morbius, a Spider-Man spinoff. He plays the lead character Michael Morbius, which is based off the character Morbius the Living Vampire from the Marvel comic.

It has not yet been revealed if Morbius will push for the R-rating, considering Venom ended up being PG-13.
