Founding member East Bay Ray revealed on Facebook that he was looking to get the band back together to perform at Riot Fest, but Jello Biafra turned down the offer. In the statement, he wrote: “Dead Kennedys had a sincere invitation to play a reunion show at Riot Fest in Chicago this fall. Jello Biafra turned it down. Klaus Flouride, DH Peligro and I were looking forward to doing it”

Dead Kennedys was founded in 1978 and parted ways in 1986—they've since done tours with different vocalists. In 2000, the members of the band filed a lawsuit against Biafra for unpaid royalties and won the case—which could be a big reason why Biafra doesn't want to reunite.

What do you think? Should he have agreed to reunite for Riot Fest?
