Much to the dismay of many viewers, Lange left the horror franchise after four seasons and four Emmy nominations, two of which she won.

Luckily, we will finally be seeing her back for the series' eighth season that recently began filming. Apocalypse will see the highly anticipated and long-hyped crossover between the anthology's Murder House and Coven seasons.

Lange will reprise her very first AHS role of Constance Langdon, who was last seen taking custody of her neighbors' satanic offspring.

Lange will be making an appearance during the season's sixth episode, which also happens to be Paulson's directing debut.

Though Paulson will be directing Lange's episode, she will also be returning to both her Coven and Murder House characters, primarily playing New Orleans witch Cordelia Foxx, but also appearing as medium Billie Dean Howard.

Many other cast regulars will be returning for this cycle including Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Adina Porter, Emma Roberts, Cheyenne Jackson, Billy Eichner, Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd.

Murder House

Executive producer Alexis Martin Woodall has kept tight lips from the cast so far concerning details, but has given one teaser: "The story begins with the end of the world. It starts in the real world. It's very tangible, and it's a familiar panic."

FX has recently revealed that it has renewed American Horror Story for a 10th season, so we won't be seeing an end to the show anytime soon! We have at least two more installments in the anthology series.
