It looks like State Champs were right about a Jonas Brothers reunion

There’s been quite some talk lately about the Jonas Brothers reuniting, and it looks like it may be more than just rumors.

In January 2018, the JoBros reactivated their Instagram account and caused instant fan reaction. At the time, many believed the trio would be reuniting including State Champs bassist Ryan Scott Graham.

A few months later, Graham tweeted that if the JoBros ever reunited, State Champs would happily go on tour with them. He retweeted his original post last week with the comment “Nearly a year later, so I’m just gonna bump this one.”

The Jonas Brothers announced their breakup in 2013, citing tensions between the members.

“We’re family first, and that’s always been our main priority…I came to the table with the guys, just before we were prepping to leave for tour, and shared my heart with them and my feelings,” Nick Jonas told Good Morning America. “I said, ‘Look, I feel like we’ve had some complications within the group for a long time, [and] without addressing them, I think this train will fall off the tracks.’”

The band went on to pursue their own careers in music and entertainment. Joe Jonas started his own band DNCE, who made the chart-topping “Cake By The Ocean,” Kevin Jonas was in his own reality TV series Married To Jonas and Nick became a successful solo artist, releasing two full-length albums with tracks such as “Jealous” and “Chains.”

After months of rumors and speculation, the brothers tweeted this morning that they’ll be releasing a new single titled “Sucker,” and according to The Fader, are rebranding, changing their name to JONAS.

They tweeted a confirmation of their reunion with a video with The Late Late Show’s James Corden in his popular segment “Carpool Karaoke.” In it, Nick Jonas says they have been keeping the secret from fans for the past seven or eight months.

Supposing that the brothers do eventually go on tour, here’s hoping State Champs will be included in the lineup.
