The video stars K.Flay and Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Eve Harlow as they embrace all the good and bad parts of their relationship.

Directed by Christina Xing, it follows the same emotions as the lyrics, emphasizing both the happy and sad memories the couple has of their time together.

Kicking off with K.Flay in her room taking “Memoria Pill,” she lays down in bed and instantly transports to one of her memories in the back of a truck. The warm orange sunset subtly shows how happy the memory was for her, where other memories are darker and less positive. The rest of the video follows K.Flay and Harlow’s relationship, including parts where they aren’t as happy as that first memory.

“We wanted to tell a story about loving someone and losing them,” K.Flay exclusively tells Alternative Press, “What that reckoning feels like. The desperate need to reinhabit your memories and relive the sense of invincibility and foreverness that comes with being in love, but also the painful, almost mystical process of letting someone go.”

“Nothing Can Kill Us” lyrics:

I’ve been awake all night
Re-living what I said to you at that
Show on the way east side
God, how I wished I’d known it’d be the last time
The last time
God, how I wished I’d known it’d be the last time
Photo in my jacket
Buried like a hatchet
Touch it like and it’s magic, yeah
Now it takes me right back
’87 hatchback
Screaming out, windows down
“Nothing can kill us!”
I should’ve held that kiss
Told you about the ways you changed my life
I’m happy you exist
Even if you sleep in a bed that’s not mine
That’s not mine
God, how I wished I’d known it’d be the last time
Photo in my jacket
Buried like a hatchеt
Touch it like and it’s magic, yeah
Now it takes mе right back
’87 hatchback
Screaming out, windows down
“Nothing can kill us!”
“Nothing can kill us!”
I’ve been awake all night
Driving around the city aimlessly
Trying to clear my mind
God, how I wished I’d known
Nothing can kill us
Photo in my jacket
Buried like a hatchet
Touch it like and it’s magic, yeah
Now it takes me right back
’87 hatchback
Screaming out, windows down
“Nothing can kill us!”
“Nothing can kill us!”
