Musicians along with everyone else are holing up in self-isolation during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic leading to some level of boredom and Kate Nash is spending her time flexing her skills with a tin whistle.

The indie-rock musician is taking a stab at covering Metallica's "Enter Sandman" using the penny whistle while telling fans "I take requests."

While she hasn't followed the clip with any other tin whistle covers yet, we're eagerly waiting to see which request she takes on first.

The "Enter Sandman" cover sees her taking on the intro riff to the track before moving into the vocal melodies.

While Nash is plugging away at the tin whistle, some other musicians are still playing livestreamed performances for fans to check out. Code Orange were early to starting the trend while others are following suit, including YUNGBLUD.

Others have been releasing new music still like Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard. While taking a break from his “Live From Home” series started on Wednesday (March 17), he’s sharing an ode to Seattle, “Life In Quarantine.”
