Knuckle Puck explain why they will "never" play their 'Punk Goes Pop' cover live
Knuckle Puck covered the 1975’s “Chocolate” for Fearless Records’ latest Punk Goes Pop installment—but they will “never” play it live, (via Rocksound).
The band sent out two tweets explaining that the 1975 have actually heard their take on the track and “out of respect” it will remain absent from live rotation.

“Chocolate” was a notable fan-favorite on Punk Goes Pop’s sixth volume. Additional participants included State Champs, Tyler Carter and We Came As Romans, among others.
Knuckle Puck’s debut full-length effort, Copacetic, turned a year old yesterday, July 31. They are currently finishing out the summer on Warped Tour.
We've gotten word that @the1975 has heard our cover of chocolate. That's sweet. Out of respect for them, we will never play it live.
