It’s a 10-minute-long video directed by Rich Lee, who’s collaborated with the singer-songwriter before on visuals for songs like “Love,” “Fuck It/I Love You,” and others.

The “Candy Necklace” visual is an homage to Old Hollywood icons like Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Short, or the Black Daholia, and also stars the song’s featured artist Jon Batiste. It largely features behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the luxe LA-set black-and-white visual, blurring the lines between what life can be like on- and off-screen for starlets’ whose lives are supposedly glamorous.
