Tool, Mastodon supergroup appear to have finished debut album

Tool drummer Danny Carey and Mastodon guitarist/vocalist Brent Hinds’ supergroup Legend Of The Seagullmen have plenty of exciting news on the horizon.

Besides just announcing a New Years Eve show with Primus, the supergroup have also been teasing the release of their debut album.

As reported by Metal Injection, the show is set to take place at the Fox Theater in Oakland, and Legend Of The Seagullmen will be opening the night. Tickets will be available Friday here.

Not to mention, this sneaky Instagram post says that the supergroup’s new album “sounds amazing,” meaning that the record must be done—and that we have plenty to look forward to.
