Due to increased demand, Everybody’s Everything will screen in 31 theaters across the U.S. today. The film is aiming towards a $1 million gross having brought $750,000 globally already.

Today also marks the two year anniversary of Peep’s tragic passing.

“It was clear from minute one that we had to do justice to an artist who worked outside of the system and release this film about his legacy accordingly,” says Janet Brown, Executive Vice President of Distribution at Gunpowder & Sky. “We saw immediately how loyal and passionate his fans are, and wanted to pay tribute to Peep’s authenticity and respect towards his fans by making them as involved in the release as possible. So many of the locations that booked the film did so because his legion of fans demanded it, and we listened.”

Speaking on creating the film, directors Sebastian Jones and Ramez Silyan offer a look into why they wanted to make it.

“There was an unbelievable amount of love and support from so many people in Gus’s life while making this film, his mother Liza first and foremost. We could not have made this film without them and it was important to be able to share it in a theater to feel like a concert experience and see Gus the way his fans came to know him,” Jones and Silyan say in a statement. “Gunpowder & Sky and Abramorama have supported that vision and brought it to life. It’s really a different experience on the big screen and hope more people continue to see it that way.”

The Everybody’s Everything album is available for streaming and purchasing now including a 2LP vinyl set in gatefold packaging with an array of unseen photos from his life and career. You can order that here and check out the album below.
