Lil Peep’s posthumous ‘Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2’ gets teased

The estate of Lil Peep took to the late rapper’s social media to tease the follow-up to 2017’s Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 1. The album was Peep’s (born Gustav Ahr) last before passing away at the age of 21 in Nov. 2017.

Peep’s memory has continued to live on since his passing from an emotional memorial service (where it was revealed Peep’s music would continue to be released) to a posthumous video for “Save That Shit” this past December.

This year, several tracks featuring Peep have been released. His mother, Liza Womack, follows intentions to continue to release the music and art that Peep had planned to do himself in 2018.

The first of many of these tracks was “Spotlight” with producer and DJ Marshmello in January. Marshmello also released a video for the track a month later where he honored the late rapper.

“Peep brought an excitement to music that was unparalleled to anybody I’ve ever met,” Marshmello said of his collaboration with Peep.

“We started an idea together, that unfortunately we were never able to officially finish together. When I listen to this track now I get chills wishing he could hear it. This record is dedicated to Peep’s mother, family, friends and his fans. Gus will live forever through his music and that is something we should all be extremely thankful for.”

A few days after “Spotlight,” Peep’s “Got Em Like” with Juicy J and Wiz Khalifa was released. The track appears on Juicy J’s new 21-track mixtape #shutdafukup.

The ILoveMakonnen-helmed “Falling Down,” a posthumous collab with Peep and XXXTentacion, was released in August. Another version of the track, “Sunlight On Your Skin” with ILoveMakonnen was released in September.

Now, Lil Peep’s social media teased an image of a pink cassette tape with the hashtags #COWYS2 and #LILPEEP4EVER. The test cassette reads Lil Peep, Come Over When You’re Sober, Pt. 2. While no other information is currently available, we’re still super stoked at the promise of more Peep music.
