Lil Peep estate reveals streetwear merch collab supporting Greenpeace

Lil Peep recently got a posthumous documentary about his life and music career called Everybody’s Everything but fans of the late emo rapper have even more to be excited about with new merch items.

The rapper’s estate has partnered with luxury streetwear brand Rose In Good Faith to release a collaborative merch line they’ve been teasing out over the past couple of days.

The Los Angeles-based brand previously worked with cult rapper Ghostemane and are now pairing up with Peep’s estate for new merch dedicated to the memory of Gus, his music, and his desire to help the world.

“Gus had a Greenpeace sticker on his laptop. He would park himself on the couch and watch Planet Earth for hours. He was also a huge Steve Irwin fan. Gus loved the planet and all the creatures that lived on it,” says Gus’ brother, Oskar Ahr.

Lil Peep previously showed his love for the clothing brand by wearing their shirts from their first line. The company is honoring him in more ways than simply making the line too, as they’re using their high-end materials while offering the items at an affordable price point.

“Working with Gus’ family, we wanted to make this capsule stand as a staple in everyone’s wardrobe, and for some, be their first luxury garment. We had a special weave made for the tees, pushing typically light-weight organic cotton up to a heavy 13oz and did the same for our French terry, coming in at 26oz. This level of quality is only found in our ultra-lux releases. This is no Gildan.” says owner and director of Rose In Good Faith David Teitelbaum.

They specifically selected lines from his song “Belgium” as inspiration for the designs which can be seen throughout each item.

“Gus’ music meant a lot to me and his fans. With this song, I feel like Gus realized the true power of his voice, deeply connecting with fans who are also experiencing the same complex feelings and emotions. The lyric speaks to the responsibility of your words. Everyone is leaving something to this world. Actions carry weight,” says Teitelbaum.

The items are featuring the brand’s ultra-premium California-grown organic heavyweight 13oz cotton tees and organic heavyweight 26oz French terry hoodies and crewnecks.

The line is limited to 900 pieces in total and will be priced between $45 and $180 USD.
