Limp Bizkit’s Fred Durst’s home engulfed by California flames
Limp Bizkit’s vocalist, Fred Durst has apparently lost his home to the ever-spreading wildfires blazing in Southern California. Among many other victims, members of Tool and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been forced to evacuate the area.

Durst took to Instagram to share an edited photo of himself on his story yesterday. The photo implies that he lost his home in the flames. The caption reads, “When you wake up and your house has burned down, but you were able to salvage your chair and thermos and paddleball.”
According to Metal Injection, Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland also shared his own personal damages as a result of the wildfires. The guitarist shared a video on Instagram of a house being taken over by the blazing wildfire.
“My pedalboard, 2 guitars, 2 amps, a 2×12 cabinet, several other pedals and misc equipment were inside this house,” Borland says in the post.
Additionally, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist, Flea gave a massive shoutout to his attentive friend. His friend stayed outside and put out small, yet potentially dangerous fires with his garden hose.
“The Los Angeles air is thick with smoke, ash, and ember and the danger has not passed,” Flea says in an Instagram post. “My house might have burned down last night were it not for my friend Eric (in the second pic) who defied the evacuation orders and stayed up all through the night armed with his wits and a garden hose, and put out all the little fires at my house and my neighbors, saving our asses. He is a brave and beautiful, a selfless and kind man.”

Other evacuated rock legends, such as Adam Jones from Tool, have also taken to the app.
The fires have grown to over 80,000 acres and left 25 people dead, according to KIII.tv. The fires have burned almost 6,500 homes. In SoCal, the Woolsey fire has claimed two of the 25 lives. It has also surpassed 80,000 acres at the time of press.
