Jimmy Eat World "Hear You Me" cover has special meaning for Greywind—listen

Many of us know “Hear you Me” as an emotional, popular track by Jimmy Eat World. Now over a decade old, the song is getting a revival from the Irish alt-rock duo Greywind.

Following their most recent album release of Afterthoughts in January, they're streaming their cover on Soundcloud. The cover has the same emotional feel, but takes on a personal meaning for siblings Steph and Paul O'Sullivan.

“When we were asked to record a cover, we wanted to do a song that means a lot to us. We played this song at our uncle’s funeral before we ever started Greywind, so it will always be a special song that is close to our hearts,” says guitarist Paul O'Sullivan. “The best songs are always the ones that make you feel something and this does exactly that.”
