Live Band Of The Year 2011

Live Band Of The Year 2011

Black Veil Brides

Frontman Andy Biersack commented on the win: “I don’t know any bands that put on a better show than us. There’s obviously bands that choreograph their stage movements better than us, and who jump in place at the same time better than us–and that’s entertaining, to a degree. But as far as giving a hundred and ten percent of ourselves every time we’re on stage, we never hold back – and I think that’s made evident in that I’ve broken just about every bone in my body on stage this last year! [Laughs.]”

“The first time I saw them was at Warped Tour and I fell in love. Andy even had BROKEN RIBS and still went crazy!” —Aerial Eastland, Tonganoxie, Kansas

Runners-up:

2. All Time Low

“Their energy is really something on stage. They sound amazing as well.” —Alyssa Paulsen, West Jordan, Utah

3. Yellowcard

“Choosing the best live band is tough, but I recently saw Yellowcard on their headlining tour and was highly impressed by their performance. The band played an extensive 24-song set all while maintaining energy and keeping the fans engaged and excited at the same time. That ability takes true talent.” —Bianca Ortega, Nashville, Tennessee

4. Panic! At The Disco

“They have really upped their live show this year. It's incredibly energetic and entertaining.” —Megan Carter, Satfford, Queensland, Australia

5. My Chemical Romance

“Anyone who has ever been to a MCR show knows just how action-packed and energetic they are. MCR successfully intertwined concepts from Danger Days on this tour, playing in both clubs and ampitheaters, and packing both. The vocals were fantastic, and no one compares.” —Betsy Goodwin, Arlington, Virginia
