As Machine Gun Kelly began his isolation, he started dropping daily cover videos which eventually expanded into freestyles too.

To date, he’s done everything from a cover of Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit,”  Juice WRLD‘s “Lucid Dreams” and tons of other songs.

He’s also given a cover of Avril Lavigne‘s “Sk8er Boi” and shared full performances of Paramore‘s “Misery Business” with Travis Barker as well as an Oasis cover of their track “Champagne Supernova” with YUNGBLUD.

He’s even sampled tracks from PVRIS and Shawn Mendes to spit his freestyles over.

Last week, Machine Gun Kelly made headlines for dropping a slick cover of Rihanna’s  “Love On The Brain” courtesy of Marilyn Manson

More Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly has been hyping his upcoming Travis Barker-produced pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall for ages now and it looks like we’re getting the first official single from the album this Friday (May 1) after plenty of teasing.

According to MGK himself, a new track is set to arrive this week. And, from the hashtag he included it’s likely titled “Bloody Valentine.”

The musician also tagged Barker in the post saying it’s “go time.”

This will mark the first recorded single to be released from the record.

The album was initially teased as a rock album amid studio sessions with Travis Barker, blackbearGoody GraceMod Sun and more in December 2019.

A little while later, we found out the name of the record in an interview with Zane Lowe.

It was initially teased for an early 2020 release but was later changed to a summer dropSeveral teaser clips have arrived including a full band performance of an untitled song recently while MGK has given a playlist of songs inspiring the album.

We also got a song from the pair as well as iann dior a couple of weeks ago. While it fit the vibe of what they seem to be aiming for, it must not be a part of the album. That’s based on Machine Gun Kelly saying this new song will be “the first single” from the record. That songs was also being tagged as an iann dior track.
