Machine Gun Kelly is so bored that he’s reenacting his favorite movies
For Day 22, MGK elected to reenact some of everyone's favorite movies.
As Machine Gun Kelly began his isolation, he started dropping daily cover videos which eventually expanded into freestyles too.
He’s also given a cover of Avril Lavigne‘s “Sk8er Boi” and shared full performances of Paramore‘s “Misery Business” with Travis Barker as well as an Oasis cover of their track “Champagne Supernova” with YUNGBLUD.
Now, he's elected to do something a bit different.
In his most recent "Lockdown Session," Machine Gun Kelly decided to pop some fan-favorite movies on in the background. While they played, he quoted some of the most iconic scenes.
He covers The Fast And The Furious, Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls, Baby Boy, Wayne's World and even recruits his drummer JP Cappelletty, or Rook, to act out the iconic drum set scene from Step Brothers. Watch the hilarity unfold below.
More Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly has been hyping his upcoming Travis Barker-produced pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall for ages now and it looks like we’re getting the first official single from the album this Friday (May 1) after plenty of teasing.
According to MGK himself, a new track is set to arrive this week. And, from the hashtag he included it’s likely titled “Bloody Valentine.”
The musician also tagged Barker in the post saying it’s “go time.”
This will mark the first recorded single to be released from the record.
Along the way, we’ve seen and heard numerous snippets of new music while getting hints at what’s in store.
A little while later, we found out the name of the record in an interview with Zane Lowe.
The record has a massive amount of guests set to appear. Other previous collaborators blackbear, Trippie Redd and Young Thug will be joining him on the new project. The rapper has also revealed hopes for collabs including Attila frontman Fronz and the Used vocalist Bert McCracken. MGK got one wish granted at least with the Used vocalist.
It was initially teased for an early 2020 release but was later changed to a summer drop. Several teaser clips have arrived including a full band performance of an untitled song recently while MGK has given a playlist of songs inspiring the album.
We also got a song from the pair as well as iann dior a couple of weeks ago. While it fit the vibe of what they seem to be aiming for, it must not be a part of the album. That's based on Machine Gun Kelly saying this new song will be “the first single” from the record. That songs was also being tagged as an iann dior track.
