Machine Gun Kelly to receive second Funko Pop! Rocks figure

Funko has announced it’ll be releasing another Machine Gun Kelly Pop! figure.

Part of its Pop! Rocks collection, the figure will be themed around MGK’s most recent album, Tickets To My Downfall. The figure will sport the same outfit from the album cover — including his signature pink Schecter PT guitar model

This isn’t the first time the musician has collabed with the collectible franchise, previously releasing its first launch with him in 2021.

Funko has regularly featured musicians, including Fall Out Boy‘s highly anticipated figures to My Chemical Romance‘s The Black Parade Pop! and Black Sabbath‘s album-inspired figurine. More broadly, the brand has released tons of figures in the past year, including many from Star WarsThe MandalorianWandaVisionSpider-Man and other entertainment franchises.

Also this week, MGK released a three-track lockdown sessions EP to streaming services. The EP was released in anticipation of Mainstream Sellout, due March 25.

The three tracks on the record were in 2020 during COVID-19 lockdowns. The EP features “roll the windows up” (based on Big Sean‘s “Smoke & Drive”), “pretty toxic revolver” and a PVRIS mashup “in these walls (my house).” Despite his turn toward a more alternative, pop-punk approach, these songs show their roots in MGK’s hip-hop days.

MGK revealed the release on Twitter, writing, “It’s been two years since ‘lockdown sessions’ hit YouTube, finally time to upload on streaming platforms…” He added in another tweet, “All this in celebration of MAINSTREAM SELLOUT coming soon 3.25.2022.”
