Machine Gun Kelly announces new custom Schecter signature guitar
Machine Gun Kelly has released a new signature guitar. The Machine Gun Kelly Signature PT was designed in collaboration with beloved guitar manufacturer Schecter.
The new instrument comes in a custom color, “Tickets To My Downfall Pink,” perfectly reflecting the unique visual language of Machine Gun Kelly.

MGK’s new guitar is a clean-looking instrument with a minimal face, perfectly suited for modern rock. The alder body features a C profile (think: Telecaster), perfect for easy access to the upper frets. The neck is a beautiful, simple bolt-on made from Canadian maple rock.
The instrument comes with a single overwound Schecter Pasadena Plus bridge pickup. Minimal electronics complete the instrument, featuring a volume control and kill switch. Schecter’s beloved locking tuners and PT-H bridge round out the clean, simple hardware.
Fans have already received a glimpse of the guitar, used during the MTV VMAs and appearing in the new Cole Bennett-directed video for “papercuts.” The visual features MGK playing an oversized version of the instrument, as well as a cameo from the track’s producer, Travis Barker. MGK will also play the new signature pink instrument on his Tickets To My Downfall tour.

MGK has been busy on many fronts this year. He recently was nominated for an AMA. The artist also has thrown himself into live performances, a welcome sight given the disruptions to live music as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to launching a recently wrapped sold-out U.S. tour, the artist also made a stop at Austin’s beloved Austin City Limits festival. In the middle of regaling fans with his music, he also climbed over 100 feet onto stage scaffolding and hung upside down.
The Machine Gun Kelly Signature PT guitar is available for purchase at major retailers, including Guitar Center, Musicians Friend and American Musical, as well as Schecter retailers.
