Machine Gun Kelly will be a playable character in upcoming video game

Machine Gun Kelly is set to appear as a playable character in the latest WWE video game, WWE 2K22.

MGK announced the news on Twitter, saying, “You can slam me through a table as much as you want.” The musician is also the executive soundtrack producer, meaning he helped curate the game’s playlist. The soundtrack includes songs from MGK himself, Poppy, Bring Me The Horizon, Turnstile, Asking Alexandria, KennyHoopla and more.

According to TheGamer, the vice president and general manager at WWE Music Group said MGK “has been an integral part of the WWE family for more than a decade, including performances at WrestleMania and Tribute to the Troops, soundtracking our premium live events with his music and making frequent storyline appearances on WWE programming over the years. He has curated a unique soundtrack for WWE 2K22 that includes not only his own music but a diverse array of artists, from the Weeknd to KennyHoopla. The 12-track soundtrack is the perfect complement to this edition’s enhanced gameplay.”

WWE 2K22 arrives March 11. It will be available for PlayStation 4 and 5 as well as Xbox One and Series S. You can watch a trailer for the soundtrack below and preorder the game here.
