Machine Gun Kelly joins YUNGBLUD for surprise Warped Tour performance

Warped Tour is closing out its final night ever in Mountain View, California, and attendees got quite the surprise. Machine Gun Kelly joined YUNGBLUD during his set Sunday night for a performance of their collab with Travis Barker.

While Barker is currently across the country on tour with blink-182, the duo held it down for an electric “I Think I’m Okay” performance.

Earlier today, YUNGBLUD began teasing that something was happening with “I have a surprise for you.”

The singer had a plane flying around the Warped grounds that read “Hope for the underrated youth.”

However, this wasn’t exactly the surprise he was referencing as his set at the 25th anniversary Warped Tour stop kicked off a few hours later. Machine Gun Kelly joined the singer onstage for “I Think I’m Okay,” which appears on the rapper’s recently released Hotel Diablo.

YUNGBLUD made his Warped Tour debut on the final cross-country run in 2018, and this wasn’t MGK’s first set either. The rapper had a handful of dates in 2011, and he hit the run in 2012. In the following years, he joined acts such as Sleeping With Sirens in 2013, Linkin Park in 2014 and We The Kings in 2016.

After their high-energy performance, the duo dove into the audience for an epic crowdsurf.

The move isn’t a surprise given they did the same thing a few weeks ago after performing the track from atop a bus. To get inside an after party, they did the only thing that makes sense and crowdsurfed their way over.

More on YUNGBLUD and Machine Gun Kelly

Last month, Machine Gun Kelly performed in Anaheim as part of his Hotel Diablo tour. On the same night, YUNGBLUD was holding his show in Los Angeles at The Roxy Theatre.

Both artists began teasing an “After Party” at The Roxy at midnight, with MGK driving to LA to surprise fans with a special performance of “I Think I’m Okay.” Travis Barker also joined the duo at the After Party.

MGK, YUNGBLUD and Barker gave an incredible performance of the recently released collab, but they didn’t stop there.

Taking to the top of a tour bus, MGK and YUNGBLUD gave an a cappella performance of the track for fans outside.
