Maggie Lindemann covers Lizzy McAlpine’s “Ceilings” for International Women’s Day

Today marks International Women’s Day, and to celebrate, Maggie Lindemann has shared a cover of Lizzy McAlpine’s 2022 viral hit “Ceilings.”

With the track, Lindemann follows a tradition of covering other women who inspire her, including No Doubt’s “Just A Girl,” Flyleaf’s “All Around Me,” and Demi Lovato’s “La La Land.”

“I have been listening to this song nonstop for the last couple months now. I am obsessed with it. I think the melodies and her lyricism are genius. It makes you feel so many different emotions. Happy Women’s History Month to all my fellow sad girls,” she says of the song in a press release.

Additionally, Lindemann is readying for her first-ever headline tour to support her 2022 debut album, SUCKERPUNCH, later this month. The sold-out U.S. run kicks off March 21 in San Diego and will include several stops in cities across the country, wrapping April 12 in Dallas. She’ll then pick the tour back up in May, with appearances slated at Slam Dunk Fest, Rock im Park, and Rock am Ring.
