Malice K releases somber new single "Radio"

Olympia, Washington-born, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Malice K signed to Jagjaguwar (Angel Olsen, Bon Iver) this past fall alongside the release of his single “PHD,” and today he releases his second single for the label, “Radio.” Like “PHD,” it was co-produced by Isaac Eiger of the now-defunct Strange Ranger, and it finds him singing with a somber, Elliott Smith-like croon over gentle acoustic guitars and luscious strings.

“‘Radio’ is about feeling helpless fucked up,” Malice K says. “Not knowing wether you’re just fucked up or maybe you should do something about it.” Listen and watch the Johann Rashid-directed video below, and check out the “PHD” video below as well if you haven’t already.
