Mark Hoppus and Matty Healy love this Blink-182 + the 1975 mashup just as much as the rest of us
Yesterday (Jan. 27), Cameron Hurley of We Are The In Crowd/SAINTE fame posted an amazing cover of the 1975's “Girls” in the style of Enema Of The State Blink-182.
Needless-to-say, it's super awesome, and we were stoked. However, we weren't the only ones—Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and the 1975's Matty Healy have both taken to Twitter to express their adoration of the mashup.

First, Healy tagged Hoppus on Twitter, asking: “Mate have you heard this I'm in love.”

Then, Hoppus gave his reaction, saying: “This has been brought to my attention. @the1975 I think we should cover our/your/his song.”

Recently, Dashboard Confessional offered a rendition of the 1975's “Sex,” and Healy took notice of that as well. In fact, he said: “My whole world has tumbled into some full lovely circle post emo kaleidoscope.”

Us too, Matty.
You can check out Hurley's awesome mashup and Dashboard Confessional's “Sex” cover below. Here's to hoping that the 1975 take Hoppus up on that offer.
