You may be waiting even longer for Marvel Phase 4 to begin
Well, it looks like Marvel fans could be waiting even longer for the start of Phase 4.
Disney is reportedly reconsidering the theatrical release date for Black Widow. The new film starring Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh and David Harbour is, for now, slated for a Nov. 6 release and helps kick off Phase 4.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the theatrical release of Black Widow has been delayed several times. Most recently, Disney revealed that the highly-awaited Phase 4 film will arrive on Nov. 6. However, it now seems that these plans may be changing…again.
According to Variety, Disney will likely delay the release of Black Widow again. This is due to the fact that many cinemas in the United States remain closed while others report low turn out for new films including Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet.
Black Widow is set to kick off Marvel Phase 4. Given that the film continues to face delays, however, all other films and programs within Phase 4 are likely to be delayed as well.
Many Black Widow fans, who are anxiously awaiting for the film, took to social media to share their frustrations with Marvel last month. Rumors recently emerged that Disney may release Black Widow exclusively on Disney+ in America, just as it did with the live-action Mulan, and some fans aren’t happy.

This week, it was also revealed that filming for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has resumed. The Disney+ show was originally supposed to arrive in August. However, the pandemic greatly pushed back the release date that, for now, is unknown.
Sebastian Stan took to Instagram on Monday to share a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the Marvel show.

Along with this, Disney Pixar is reportedly exploring release options for the animated kids’ film Soul. The movie was originally supposed to be released in theaters on Nov. 20, but the studio is reportedly considering a release on Disney+.

The delay of Marvel Phase 4 follows various other cinematic delays amid the pandemic. Warner Bros recently announced that Wonder Woman 1984 is now debuting in late December instead of October. As well, Jordan Peele‘s Candyman remake will now arrive in 2021 after facing a series of delays.
