“You want to get off the train before they push you off,” Evans told The New York Times, with writer Reggie Ugwu adding that Evans “expects that planned reshoots in the fall will mark the end of his tenure in the familiar red, white and blue super suit.”

Said reshoots are for the upcoming Avengers 4, due out May 3, 2019. This has caused some speculations, of course. Will Captain America make it out of the flick alive? Only time will tell.

However, he will be appearing in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, due out April 27.

It'll be one of the biggest superhero movies Marvel has ever done, combining almost every superhero across the franchise.
