Mastodon guitarist reveals supergroup featuring members of Mars Volta, more

In a recent interview, Mastodon guitarist Brett Hinds revealed that he was working as part of an unnamed supergroup. The band, comprised of Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman, former Mars Volta drummer Thomas Pridgen and ex-Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery, has been slow to do much work as the distance between members and lack of time has hindered and recording, says Hinds. He also revealed that he hopes to call the band Giraffe Tongue. Hinds is also working on recording a new Mastodon record.
