Mayday Parade tease heartsick new single “More Like a Crash”

Alternative Press teamed up with Mayday Parade for an exclusive “Jamie All Over” T-shirt, which is limited to 150 units. Head to the AP Shop to snag yours.

If you’ve been missing Mayday Parade, you won’t have to wait much longer. The band just teased their first new single of the year called “More Like a Crash.”

The song sounds like a classic broken-hearted anthem from Mayday, with vocalist Derek Sanders declaring that he “wanted your heart and got a poison instead.” The track is out this Friday, May 5 and will come with a music video. You can presave the new single here.

Mayday Parade only released two singles, “Losing My Mind” and “Thunder,” last year. The latter was a previously unheard outtake from their 2021 album, What It Means To Fall Apart. Additionally, the band are in the midst of a tour across the U.S. Later this summer, they’ll embark on another run with Yellowcard, Story of the Year, and This Wild Life. The band will also appear at several festivals this year, including Louder Than Life, Aftershock Festival, and two dates of Hawthorne Heights’ Is For Lovers Festival.
