Here's how you can help Mexico City earthquake victims

A 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit Central Mexico on Tuesday, leaving over 200 dead and hundreds more injured, as reported by the Los Angeles Times. The disastrous tremor followed a large, 8.1 earthquake elsewhere in Mexico only 11 days earlier, on Sept. 8, originating off the coast of the state of Chiapas.
Tuesday's quake, which caused damage in the states of Puebla, Morelos and the Mexico City area, occurred on the 32nd anniversary of the catastrophic 1985 Mexico City earthquake. In the wake of the two consecutive disasters in Mexico, here are a few ways you can help the victims of the earthquakes.
1. Help children affected by the earthquakes
At least 30 children died when a school building collapsed in Mexico City on Tuesday, as reported by the New York Times. Both Save The Children and UNICEF Mexico have set up online donation portals for those wishing to contribute to relief efforts for local children and others affected in Mexico.

2. Donate to help earthquake victims in each area
New York City-based non-profit organization Project Paz has coordinated a special Mexico earthquake relief fundraiser, as reported by Romper. Here, you can make targeted online donations, allocating your funds to be used toward either the Mexico City earthquake, the Sept. 8 quake near Chiapas, or both.

3. Assist those affected in Mexico with relief items
Red Cross Mexico has arranged an Amazon Wish List where you can donate specific items for earthquake victims, helping those affected by purchasing particular, needed supplies. Please note that the Amazon Wish List link is Spanish, but you can use apps such as Google Translate to help translate.
