MGK is finally making his 'Saturday Night Live' debut—here's when
It looks like Machine Gun Kelly is finally going to make his Saturday Night Live debut.
This week, NBC announced the next round of hosts and performers for the legendary show which includes the Tickets To My Downfall artist, Phoebe Bridgers, Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy and more.

Since Machine Gun Kelly and Pete Davidson are best friends, fans have been waiting for a long time for MGK to finally make his debut on Saturday Night Live. In fact, it all almost happened back in October.
Country singer Morgan Wallen was scheduled to perform for an SNL episode. However, after Wallen broke COVID-19 protocol, NBC was left scrambling to find a last-minute musical act. Since Tickets To My Downfall had just debuted, fans tweeted that MGK should be that week’s musical performer instead. Although the slot eventually went to Jack White, it turns out MGK did almost make his SNL debut that week.

Now, the time has finally arrived for Machine Gun Kelly to make his first appearance on Saturday Night Live. On Friday, he revealed he is officially checking that box off his bucket list on Saturday, Jan. 30. During the episode, which is being hosted by John Krasinski (The Office, A Quiet Place), fans can likely anticipate MGK to perform material off of Tickets To My Downfall.

Along with MGK, SNL has announced that Schitt’s Creek star Dan Levy will be hosting the Feb. 6 episode with the Grammy-nominated Phoebe Bridgers set to perform. As well, actress Regina King is hosting the Feb. 13 episode with special musical guest Nathaniel Rateliff.

Although Machine Gun Kelly has yet to appear on Saturday Night Live, he has been mentioned in a few recent sketches. Back in December, Pete Davidson impersonated MGK for a hilarious sketch that involved impressions of Harry Styles, by Timothee Chalamet, and Billie Eilish among others.
Naturally, Machine Gun Kelly had the best response to Pete Davidson’s portrayal of him.

January has already been a very busy month for Machine Gun Kelly. This week, a zombie-filled video for “acting like that,” his collab with YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker was released. As well, Downfalls High, the project he co-directed with MOD SUN, had a massive opening weekend with over 16 million viewers.
