Mike Shinoda, Talinda Bennington participate in PSA for suicide prevention
You can watch it below.
Chester Bennington unexpectedly died last July after taking his own life. Following the singer’s death, both Talinda Bennington and Mike Shinoda have been advocates for suicide prevention.
The ad, which aired during the series premiere of ABC's new drama series A Million Little Things, featured both Talinda and Shinoda, as well as one of the show's actors, James Roday.
Roday began the PSA with a reference to the show's pilot episode by saying “We lost our fictional friend to suicide." Which is soon followed by Shinoda, “And we lost our very real friend.”
Talinda Bennington then adds, “Over a million people have thoughts of suicide each year” and then continues with “Know the signs of emotional suffering."

After Bennington's death, Linkin Park released the One More Light Live live album late last year, but Shinoda has previously noted “there is no answer” regarding any future recording or live performances by Linkin Park.
Now, Shinoda’s just “taking it one step at a time and keeping [his] mind open to the possibilities.” When asked if he’ll stay solo moving forward, he says he’s interested in “working with other artists or producing tracks for somebody else.”
To that end, the LP co-founder did mention that he’s ready tour whenever Linkin Park’s other members feel comfortable.
“If the guys are at a point where they wanna play Linkin Park shows. I’m sure that any of those things are possibilities.”
