Shinoda and Imagine Dragons will be joined by Zedd, Grace Vanderwaal, Neon Trees' Tyler Glenn, Vagabon and many more for the festival event on Saturday, July 28, at SLC's Rice Eccles Stadium. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 6, via Smith's Tix, and you can get more info about the fest here.
As reported by Rolling Stone, proceeds from the LOVELOUD fest help support LGBTQ resource center Encircle, the Tegan And Sara Foundation, and suicide prevention and crisis intervention service The Trevor Project. Here's what Tegan And Sara said about LOUDLOUD in a statment:
“LoveLoud's inspiring goal is to raise $1 million for LGBTQ+ organizations in one day,” the indie-pop duo wrote, “and we know that this amazing program of music and speakers will entertain, educate and inspire everyone who comes out in support on July 28th.”
Reynolds started LOVELOUD to “help ignite the relevant and vital conversation of what it means to unconditionally love, understand, accept, and support LGBTQ+ youth.”
