The pulsating song, which features themes of independence and evokes Donna Summer, was notably released on her ex Liam Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday. “I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand/ Talk to myself for hours, yeah, some things you don’t understand/ But I can take myself dancing, yeah/ I can hold my own hand/ Yeah, I can love me better than you can,” she asserts on the track.

Cyrus also shared the song’s accompanying music video, created by her and directed by Jacob Bixenman, which features the pop star dancing, working out, doing yoga and swimming in a pool.

Cyrus announced the follow-up to her 2020 LP Plastic Hearts just days after she hosted the NBC holiday special, Miley’s New Years Eve Party, for the second time with Dolly Parton. To ring in 2023, the event featured Cyrus performing with Paris Hilton, David Byrne, Fletcher, and more.

Endless Summer Vacation is due March 10 via Columbia.
