Miley Cyrus announces the release date of her new album 'Endless Summer Vacation'

It looks like Miley Cyrus is still ringing in the good vibes of the new year. Today, the pop star announced her 8th studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, which is due out March 11 via Columbia

To kick off the new release, Cyrus will debut the album’s lead single, “Flowers,” next Friday, January 13. The singer-songwriter previously shared that the song was on the way in late 2022, taking to social media to declare, “New year, new Miley, new single,” along with a teaser video.

Endless Summer Vacation is described as a “love letter to L.A.” according to a press release, and it’s confirmed to feature a host of high-profile collaborators and producers including Greg Kurstin, Tyler Johnson, Kid Harpoon, and Mike Will Made-It, who she previously worked on hit records like 2013’s Bangerz and 2015’s Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz. The announcement comes with a stunning teaser trailer that shows Cyrus basking poolside in the California sun, as well as shots of scenic locations across LA. Throughout the trailer, Cyrus recites a nostalgic spoken word poem over the backdrop of ominous and vibed-out synth chords — setting the tone for what will surely be a reflective record.

In addition to having new music on the way, Cyrus recently hosted the NBC special Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party along with Dolly Parton where she performed alongside icons including Parton and David Byrne.
