Militarie Gun announce new EP Life Under the Sun

Head to the AP Shop to pick up our Militarie Gun cover with a limited-edition seven-inch of “Very High (Under the Sun)” and “Never Fucked Up Twice” (feat. Bully)

In addition to appearing on the cover Alternative Press‘ winter issue, Miltiarie Gun have a new EP coming this Friday (Jan. 26). Titled Life Under the Sun, it features four reworked versions of songs from 2023’s fantastic Life Under The Gun, with appearances from Bully, Manchester Orchestra, and Mannequin Pussy, plus a cover of NOFX‘s “Whoops, I OD’d.”

The reworks of “Very High” and “Never Fucked Up Once” (feat. Bully and retitled “Never Fucked Up Twice”) came out last fall, and the reworked version of “My Friends Are Having A Hard Time” with Manchester Orchestra is out today. It strips the song down and builds it back up with piano, vocoder, and electronic beats, turning it into something totally different than the album version. The Isaac Deitz-directed video stars both Militarie Gun’s Ian Shelton and Manchester Orchestra’s Andy Hull. Check it out below.

Militarie Gun also have an upcoming tour with Pool Kids and Spiritual Cramp on all dates, plus additional support from Spaced, Roman Candle, and Death Lens, varying by city. See all dates below.
