A reworked version of Motionless In White’s “Another Life” is on its way
It looks like Motionless In White are teasing a new release.
On Aug. 6, the band posted a teaser revealing that a reworked version of “Another Life” is arriving next week.

Over the past few months, Chris “Motionless” Cerulli has been revealing various secrets about Motionless In White’s new music. Back in May, he shared that some of the band’s new music will have a heavier sound, influenced by the uncertain times amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I realized how internally angry I am at missing the shows and the tours that we’re missing because everything I’m working on kind of has this really aggressive edge,” Chris says.
Then, in June, he further said that Motionless In White’s next release will have a good mix of songs as heard on their previous albums. Although the band are experimenting with different sounds, the next LP will feature songs that cater to all of their fans’ taste.
“There’s going to be a usual mix of things on the record like we normally do, from stuff like ‘Another Life‘ and ‘Voices‘ all the way to stuff like ‘Thoughts & Prayers‘ and ‘Undead Ahead 2‘ and stuff that we’ve done everywhere in between,” he says.
Most recently, Chris revealed that Motionless In White are preparing to release two different projects this summer. He also said these projects “aren’t new songs,” hinting that a reworked release could be on its way.
“Just received the final mixes for two projects we are releasing this summer. I can’t wait for you to hear,” he tweets. “All I’m going to say is ….. you should stock up on some Kleenex now ahead of time.”

Now, it looks like Motionless In White are preparing to share something from those upcoming projects. On Aug. 6, the band posted an untitled video teaser on social media. The video includes footage from their “Another Life” video as well as reworked audio of the song.
The tweet seemingly confirms that a new rendition of the fan-favorite track is on its way. The video also reveals that the new song arrives on Aug. 10.

“Another Life” appears on Motionless In White’s 2019 LP Disguise. Since its release, it has quickly become a favorite amongst fans. It is currently the most-streamed song off of Disguise with over 17.8 million streams on Spotify. “Another Life” is also one of Motionless In White’s top streamed songs in their discography.
Back in May, Chris revealed that Motionless In White hope to put out new music sometime this year. As times remain uncertain, however, Chris said that new music will be released when the time is right.
“I think we’ll be trying to get at least a new song out by the end of the year, but I just hope nobody holds me to that,” Chris shares. “We’re just gonna keep writing, and what happens happens. It might be early next year. I don’t know.”
