Mötley Crüe revive “Take Me To The Top” with nostalgic new video
The band have released a new video for "Take Me To The Top" from their debut record Too Fast For Love.
Too Fast For Love only had one song, "Live Wire," receive the video treatment back in the early '80s. While it does seem a bit strange to release a new music video for a nearly 40-year-old song, now is the optimal time to do so with Mötley Crüe.
In case you haven't watched the band's first ever music video, check it out in the player below.
The new video uses footage from the Netflix film intertwined with old clips of the band performing live.
“The original footage for this video was shot before we even had a record deal in 1981, and seeing it juxtaposed with the footage from the movie in 2019 is something I don't think any of us ever saw coming," says bassist Nikki Sixx.
You can watch the video below and bask yourself in the nostalgic vibes the band has been plentifully offering.
As previously reported, the band's biopic has done wonders for their record sales and even brought their 2001 book back to the top of the New York Times Best Sellers list.
Just under a month after The Dirt’s March 22 release, Mötley Crüe’s catalog saw a 570 percent increase on Spotify and a 900 percent increase on Apple Music. The number of Apple iTunes downloads also increased by 2027 percent.
