MTV Video Music Awards 2020 winners announced—see the full list

The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards are finally here. See the full list of VMAs nominations and winners below.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic leading to canceled events and concerts worldwide, MTV is still moving forward with an in-person ceremony. Hosted by actress Keke Palmer, the VMAs returned to Brooklyn Sunday for the first time since 2013.

With this year’s nominations, Billie Eilish is the first to be nominated for Video Of The Year twice while still being in their teens. She earned the nod for “everything i wanted” after “bad guy” was nominated in 2019. Juice WRLD is nominated in the same category alongside Eminem for “Godzilla,” making the late rapper the first artist to be posthumously nominated in the category since The Notorious B.I.G in 1998 and Kurt Cobain for Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box” in 1994.

Taylor Swift is also breaking records in the category, earning a nomination for “The Man” after winning for “You Need To Calm Down” in 2019. She is the first artist since Katy Perry in 2012 to snag the back-to-back nods with only Eminem, Britney Spears and Beyonce doing so before them.

YUNGBLUD is up for PUSH Best New Artist while blink-182, Evanescence, Fall Out Boy, Green Day and more are facing off in Best Rock. Machine Gun Kelly, the 1975, All Time Low, FINNEAS, Lana Del Rey and twenty one pilots are up for Best Alternative, which marks the first time the award will be given out since Green Day won in 1998.

Head below to see the list of VMAs winners (in bold), which will be updated live throughout the evening as artists receive their Moon Person.
