See a classic My Chemical Romance video recreated in ‘Animal Crossing’

Earlier in the week, we got to hear My Chemical Romance‘s “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” in the style of Animal Crossing‘s resident musician K.K. Slider and now we’re getting to see what a remake of the music video would look like in the game.

YouTuber Mika Schmeling used the remix made by Suukool and recreated the track’s music video within the game itself.

The cover came complete with remixed artwork, a new song title and band name. It features the simple and straight-forward sounds K.K. Slider has been making since the beginning of the video game’s franchise.

Now, we’re getting to see that remix a step further with a recreated music video. The remixed music video displays the original below the Animal Crossing version of the classic My Chemical Romance clip.

You can watch the video and compare it to the original below.

Other Animal Crossing players have found creative ways of showing their love of My Chemical Romance in the game too.

Back in April, a player showed everyone how to make “Welcome To The Black Parade” as a Town Tune.

For those who don’t know, a Town Tune is a customizable track that plays when you perform certain tasks in the game as well as when the time changes.

Reddit user u/Ballato420 figured out how to pluck out the notes and shared it with the rest of the world to enjoy.
