My Chemical Romance aren't the only reunion set for Aftershock 2021

It looks like Aftershock Festival will be bigger and better than ever in 2021. On Thursday, the festival confirmed that Machine Gun Kelly, Rise Against, Parkway Drive and Rancid are just a few of the artists joining the 2021 festival lineup.

As well, it looks like headliners My Chemical Romance aren’t the only ones performing a reunion set at next year’s event.

Due to the pandemic, Aftershock 2020 was postponed. Shortly after, however, it was confirmed that MCR and Metallica are returning as headliners in 2021.

The event, which was supposed to happen this month, is now taking place from Oct. 7 – 10, 2021. As well, an additional day has been added for next year’s festival.

“We are excited to announce that, thanks to our friends at Jack Daniel’s, we are adding a fourth night to Aftershock 2021, as an epic celebratory evening to kick-off the return of California’s favorite rock festival.”

Now, Aftershock has announced a slew of other artists that are playing the festival in 2021. Limp Bizkit, The Offspring, Social Distortion, Volbeat, Mastodon, Gojira and SEETHER are just a few of the acts joining Aftershock 2021.

As well, one band is planning to reunite on the Saturday date of the festival for a special set. A mysterious spot is included on the festival’s poster for the artist. However, it looks like we are going to have to wait to find out who it is.

Passes for Aftershock 2021 are available to purchase here. Single-day general admission tickets start at $119 while 4-Day general admission passes are $379.50.
