Watch this gamer play a My Chemical Romance song in ‘Batman: Arkham’

Video gamers often merge their love for gaming and music together while playing virtual reality games. Last week, blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus played an acoustic rendition of “Dammit” in The Last Of Us II. Now, another gamer is sharing their performance of a classic My Chemical Romance song in Batman: Arkham.

Since the coronavirus pandemic began, some are playing video games more than ever before. Over the past few months, we’ve seen various individuals getting really creative while playing their games. From Warped Tour fans creating their own festivals to someone recreating MCR’s “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)” video in Animal Crossing, many are bridging the gap between their love of music and video games.

Now, another My Chemical Romance fan is bringing “Welcome To The Black Parade” to life in the virtual reality game Batman: Arkham. A video of the performance was shared on the My Chemical Romance subreddit by u/UABADBOT.

While taking a seat in front of a piano, the gamer shows their music chops while playing the virtual reality game. The minute-long performance starts off with the gamer playing the opening piano notes every MCR fan remembers well. Then, once the song kicks in, the picture frame they are holding is dramatically tossed aside.

The video also shows how Batman: Arkham players can recreate “Welcome To The Black Parade” or other songs for themselves.

The full video of the performance is available to watch below.
