Here’s what it would sound like if Metallica sang for My Chemical Romance

If you’ve ever wondered what it would sound like if the most legendary thrash metal band Metallica sang for My Chemical Romance, well, you’re in for a treat.

YouTuber William Maranci created a mashup of “Master Of Puppets” and “Welcome To The Black Parade” and it oddly works better than you would expect.

The mashup pairs Metallica frontman James Hetfield’s iconic vocals alongside the instrumentals from MCR. The tempo of the vocals are changed a bit to match the speed of the track and while it’s clear they’re a touch off from the original, it’s kind of weird how well they work together.

You can hear the “Master Of The Black Parade” mashup below.

Animal Crossing and music seem like a perfect match from the way people have been bringing their favorite bands and artists into the game since its release and someone has discovered how you can make My Chemical Romance‘s “Welcome To The Black Parade” your Town Tune.

A Town Tune is a customizable song that will play when you perform certain activities in the game, and when the time changes. Essentially, you hear it a lot so why it make it something you like?

Reddit user u/Ballato420 discovered how to pluck out the notes to the track and provided them to the world free of charge.

Other musical discoveries in the game can be found too. guitar tech and tour manager Aaron Dimatulac discovered a way you can play “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” using an in-game drum kit.

While we’re all stuck at home isolating right now, there couldn’t be a better time than now to find other creative ways to include your musical tastes into the game.
