My Chemical Romance drummer confirmed for 2019 reunion show
The internet is still buzzing after My Chemical Romance hit us all with a G-note and announced their return. With the band's reunion show selling out almost instantly, fans have been on edge with speculations and theories as to who would be making an appearance at next month's gig.
Now, it looks like Billboard has official confirmation on who will be filling the role as MCR's drummer.
On Oct. 31, Halloween was overshadowed by the return of the Black Parade. After the creation of an official My Chemical Romance Instagram and a series of cryptic teasers, MCR announced their long-awaited return.
It didn't take long for fans to notice that former MCR drummer Jarrod Alexander had also shared the reunion teaser photo to his Instagram.
While the other members of MCR captioned their posts with "California 2019," Alexander left his caption blank.

To backtrack, Alexander joined My Chemical Romance in September 2011, filling in on their Honda Civic tour run. He continued with the band through their final show at Bamboozle Festival, going on to help Gerard Way, Ray Toro and Frank Iero with their respective solo projects after the hiatus.
"Editor's Note: This article has been edited to note that Jarrod Alexander will be the drummer for My Chemical Romance's reunion show."
Further confirmation was given via Billboard staff writer Chris Payne's twitter.
So far, Billboard has confirmed Alexander for the 2019 reunion show. However, there's currently no confirmation if he will be joining MCR for their 2020 gigs.
