My Chemical Romance fan reportedly finds potential Gerard Way song title
One crafty My Chemical Romance fan is speculating two new potential song titles based on a BMI Repertoire registry for song credits made by Gerard Way.
In a Reddit thread, fans are discussing the potential for two tracks based on Way registering two new titles recently.

The BMI Repertoire is a website where musicians register songs they’ve written for credit. The user who posted the update notes he set a tool updating him whenever Gerard makes an update to his page.
Yesterday, changes were made including two new song titles, “Emily” and “Still Alive.” It should be noted that “Emily” has already been released by My Chemical Romance on their The Black Parade/Living With Ghosts release as a rough mix they’ve recorded and released.
As for “Still Alive,” the band recorded a massive amount of songs around Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys that were eventually cut down into Conventional Weapons.
In a 2010 interview with Exclaim!, Gerard Way spoke on the unreleased tracks explaining he would like to see them get a release which many of them eventually did.

“I think it will see the light of day,” he says. “I think it would be fun for a fan to hear that, I think it would be important too. In the aftermath of Danger Days, if that means two years or 15, I don’t know. It would be cool for people to see the process and what it was like and how we got to Danger Days. We wouldn’t work on it anymore, we would just put it in order and then put it out. It’s unfinished, in that we just ran out of time and it wasn’t that great, so we abandoned it. But there were a lot of songs recorded.”
Another post outlines a number of other unreleased songs, including “Still Alive.” Fans note that the song was allegedly about the band being bottled at the 2006 Reading and Leeds Festival.
The two new titles being added include credits for drummer Bob Bryar who was a part of the band from 2004 to 2010. Bryar was not drumming with the band during their reunion show in December as they were joined by Jarrod Alexander who played with them from 2011 to 2013.
Whether the song titles are being registered to be re-recorded, updated, re-released or simply to claim credit for older material is up in the air but “Still Alive” being registered without ever seeing release is suspect.
