New Found Glory take on ‘Twilight’ in DIY “A Thousand Years” music video

New Found Glory just announced a stacked fall tour and premiered a Twilight-inspired video for their latest single “A Thousand Years”. 

First, the band unveiled the second leg of From The Screen To Your Stereo To Your Town Tour.

Hawthorne Heights, Free Throw and Jetty Bones will be joining them for the tour as it hits the U.S. and Canada. 

Then, they dropped the video for “A Thousand Years”. The song was originally recorded by Christina Perry and comes from the Twilight: Breaking Dawn soundtrack.

Therefore, the band took the Twilight theme seriously with the video which was partially recorded in a cemetery. They also wear cloaks, which is a plus, and there’s even a werewolf appearance.

The song comes from the band’s latest release From The Screen To Your Stereo 3, which features covers of songs from iconic film soundtracks such as “Eye Of The Tiger,” “Let It Go” and many more.

They’ve previously released hilarious videos for “Cups” from Pitch Perfect and “Let It Go” from Frozen. They also dropped their takes on Rocky 3’s “Eye Of The Tiger,” The Greatest Showmans “This Is Me” and Back To The Future’s “The Power Of Love.”
