1. The Darling Fire – “The Constant”

The Darling Fire continue the post-hardcore revival with their new slow jam, “The Constant.” The band perfect the ability to be hard-hitting while keeping a slow, intimate pace. Dark Celebration is set to release June 14 via Spartan Records, with preorders available here.

2. Sink Or Swim – “Sunrays”

Sink Or Swim breed nostalgia with their latest track, “Sunrays,” making it the perfect jam for your lazy Sunday. Softly strumming through stories of days gone by, the band are reminiscent of the sad pop-punk or emo classics we used to have on repeat. You can check out upcoming tour information, which includes shows supporting As It Is and Trash Boathere.

3. Daybreak – “Godfather”

Deceptively lulling listeners in with a low-key intro, don’t let the first few seconds of Daybreak’s EP title track “Godfather” fool you. Once the vocals begin, the track is thrown into a buffeting storm of hardcore vocals, banging drums and ominous sound effects. 4. Carrington – “Interesting Places”

Carrington take you through the grieving process with the second single off their upcoming debut EP, “Interesting Places.” Balancing their rough, hardcore style with heart-wrenching lyrics, the band address the hardships of dealing with loss. The EP, Alter-Ego, drops May 24. Updates on the band and their debut EP are available here.

5. Victory Lane – “Happy Sad”

Victory Lane debut an extremely relatable song with the release of the first single off their upcoming EP. “Happy Sad” gives off pop-punk vibes as the band play upbeat riffs behind lyrics that describe the struggle to find a balance between your emotions. Barebones is set to debut July 26, and it’s available for preorder here.

6. Meliorist – “Wanderer”

If you need some encouragement this weekend, Meliorist’s “Wanderer” is the perfect track to get you through it. The song starts with strong drums and guitars, never letting up through its duration. The track will be included on the band’s upcoming debut album, Patterns, which drops May 10 and is available for preorder here.

7. Feverwar – “Take Me Home”

Mixing elements of classic rock with post-hardcore, Feverwar create a song fit for a modern Southern cowboy readying for a standoff. “Take Me Home” contains two elegant guitar solos and gritty vocals. The track is featured on the band’s debut EP, Piss Poor, available now here.

8. Holly Henderson – “Loneliness”

Holly Henderson unveils the feelings of a romantic in “Loneliness.” Henderson’s lilting vocals are accompanied by riveting guitars and drum which drive the track along. This is the first track from her debut full-length, Monday Green, to be released June 7.

9. New Dialogue – “Pilgrims”

New Dialogue’s “Pilgrims” is a tune best suited for adventure. Swinging melodies and captivating vocals will have you offhandedly humming the track. The song is taken off the group’s debut EP, Teach Me How To Feel, which can be purchased here. They’re on tour with Marianas Trench, and a full list of dates and tickets are available here.

10. Valencia James – “Flames”


Valencia James’ debut single is as fiery as its name. “Flames” begins with James singing solo, a lone beat accompanying her through the first few lines until an explosion of instrumentation hits.
