New Foo Fighters record to feature Nirvana alum

David Grohl is going back to his roots for the next Foo Fighters record. In a recent interview with BBC, Grohl revealed that the band's next record will be produced by Butch Vig (the man behind the landmark Nevermind) along with featuring a guest appearance by none other than Nirvana's bassist Krist Novoselic. The band has currently recorded seven tracks and are planning to do about five or six more. Grohl also revealed that the Foo Fighters are documenting the recording process for a film, which he hopes will be released in 2011.
