1,000 Nirvana fans perform "Smells Like Teen Spirit"—watch

Italy’s Rockin’ 1,000 project took over the internet last summer when they convinced the Foo Fighters to play a show in their hometown with this epic video of them performing “Learn To Fly.” (Since then, that video has amassed over 32 million views.)

The collective recently returned and gathered roughly 1,000 people for multiple covers at Orogel Stadium in Cesena, Italy. Songs included hits from Nirvana, the White Stripes and David Bowie, among others. Below, you can watch videos of “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Seven Nation Army” and “Rebel Rebel.”
